Plenty of inventory, over 100 bikes available for restoration
A resent inquiry wanted to know if I had any bikes left. Forgive me for not being clear. While I only have 3 ready for pick up I have plenty available for restoration. With the summer season in full swing most customers have been pre ordering their bikes so they have not shown up here for sale. James is a systems engineer, lives 1 mile from work and does not own a car. He was looking for his 2nd bicycle and wanted to try the Fixed Gear experience. Schwinn approved derailleurs & shifters, Diacompe side pull brakes, 27 x 1.25 Chrome rims , one piece steel crank w/standard American bottom bracket, Valetta saddle . COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION. This bicycle has been completely dissembled, frame & forked cleaned and waxed. All brite metal cleaned and polished. All bearing systems cleaned and overhauled (hubs, bottom bracket, & headset). Brakes, shifters, derailleurs, chain & freewheel cleaned and reinstalled. 58CM seat tube, 56CM top tube, 33" stand over. This bicycle is one of a limited run of lugged steel bicycles built in the Chicago factory. Frame is made of Tru-Temper steel tubing with forged dropouts, brais-ons for racks or fenders and lugged fork crown. Suntour 5000 derailleurs & shifters, Modolo Flash quick release brakes, 27 x 1.25-schrader valve Weinman alloy rims laced to low flange-quick release Shimano alloy hubs with stainless steel spokes, Sugino cranks, MKS track pedals, Pantagraphed Champion alloy handle bars, Killoy microadjust alloy seat pillar. COMPLETE PROFESSIONAL RESTORATION. This bicycle has been completely dissembled, frame & forked cleaned and waxed. All brite metal cleaned and polished. All bearing systems cleaned and overhauled (hubs, bottom bracket, & headset). Brakes, shifters, derailleurs, chain & freewheel cleaned and reinstalled.
