This bicycle was built in the Carlton frame shop in England. Hand built with Reynolds 531 tubes and long point Italian luggs. Frame is completely chromed and was painted with translucent paint. I think it looks better without the paint. DurAce cranks, Shimano Crane derailleurs, DiaCompe center pull brakes, Cinille ttt stem and handle bars, New Brooks B17 saddle, and soon to have Hand Sewn Elk Hide bar wraps. Note the spot on the fork, a braised on boss to mount a headlight.
80s vintage Concord Touring Bicycle. Restoration just completed. This beautiful bicycle features Nervex luggs, chrome tipped fork, chain stays, seat stays, DiaCompe center pull brakes, Suntour GT rear derailleur, Shimano front, alloy micro adjust seat post, Sake Custom Road Champion alloy handle bars, Cotton bar tape finished with hemp twine and schellac. for a test ride call me at 502-552-5669.
Laura seems pleased with the progress on her new bicycle. Shamino long cage rear derailleur, Dura Ace front, and Brooks grips recently added. Cranks , pedals and chain are on order and should be here soon to complete the project.
Even using TekTro long reach side pull brakes, the smaller diameter of the 650B wheels require a drop link fabricated from a piece of 1" x 1/4" aluminum bar stock.
